I have to use IE at work. SharePoint is the coming thing -_-

Aside from that and the pleasure of building stuff around IE8, I've used the following:

    Safari
    Firefox
    Lolifox
    AvantGo
    Opera
    Netscape
    Konqueror
    Shiira

I'm mostly using Firefox now, with the occasional lump of Safari thrown in

Not a good enough reason on its own to use a browser! What are these 'bits' bolted on? XD

it appears to be designed with the torrenter in mind. There's built-in buttons and searches for prominent anime torrent sites and forums (Hongfire, DaTorrents, Animesuki) as well as an abundance of fox-in-dungarees.

Of course it's a good reason to use a browser

Mostly Firefox, but I use Opera at times as well.

Used lolifox once as well, but it became outdated and they didn't release any new versions, so I went back to FF.
    ...and a hopeful new year!

they're apparently working on a new version and have been for some time. I'd hate to see the project tail off more than it has or fade out altogether... :/

Just upgraded the home lappy to IE8 so's I can use it for work. Not liking it >_<

Apparently some one who works for my dad upgraded to the newest IE, and it had a lot of bugs, so no one else is changing theirs.

From what I can see I used the version previous to the one available now. Let's hope they'll finish it. Was kind of cool even though it wasn't very different or more user-friendly than Firefox.

I'll have to add myself to the list of IE haters as well. Don't really see why anyone would use it.
    ...and a hopeful new year!

ACtually IE8 is not that bad, they're trying to correct their evil ways (w3 standards, getting rid of their crazy own invented stuff, fixing the rendering engine, etc), at least IE is now heading in the right direction (copying ideas from many other browsers, but who doesn't these days?)

Anyways, just to show you guys some stats about browser usage, theres this cool table that shows stats since 2002
    Browser Statistics

For those too lazy to click on links:
    2009 IE7 IE6 IE8 Fx Chrome S O

FireFox has custom skins you can download and use that can sometimes alter the way it look entirely, hell I'd love a theme that'll make it look like IE (that's the only thing I like about IE, the layout).

I am a FireFox user, but on average, I use IE about 40% of the time since every school PC or computer I use has IE and sometimes doesn't have FireFox.

Come to think of it, isn't IE8 still a BETA? Freakin Microsoft is jumping the gun again, first with the 360, then with Vista, and now with IE.

I only realized now that Firefox seems to have already beaten Internet Explorer when it comes to popularity

Oh well, perhaps I should try Konqueror

IE8 might be a beta, but so far i've detected more bugs on Firefox 3.0 tbh
But Firefox 3.0 is more complete

What I love about FireFox is that it's open-source, not OS-restricted, and is 100% customizable! So many great plugins and they barely slow the browser down at all! FireFox is godly, though I've played with Opera at one point and, it seems, Opera runs smoother and faster than FireFox :/ Is this just me!?

Btw, Safari is garbage, is the Apple version of IE

I use IE8 as my standard browser, im far too used to it, but for certain things that IE8 screws up with, I have Firefox 3 as a backup, so it's all good.

Actually, since everyone is talking about the bugs, did anyone else have problems with YouTube and flash with FireFox 3?
