I think I have forwarded this like twice now

Wait. Exactly HOW many subforums are we talking about here? This seems a bit much.

We've had discussions in the staff forum being concerned that we have too many subforums as it is already.

Due to the new board arrangement, this debate is over, and there won't be any changes with the style as it is right now.
If anyone is against this, you are free raise your voice and open the debate again

I have a small suggestion to make.

Could we please have a Roleplay Battles subforum here for current and new RP battles. Old battles can stay where they are, or be moved.

I'm suggesting this as a way of tidying up a little. Rp battles seem to be taking up most of the space in the Roleplaying forum. Just a suggestion.

Why don't you do the opposite: put all ancient rp battles in a subforum of its own?

I'd say that a general "Abandoned RPs" subforum would be great... Then we could put all RP's that haven't had activity for 30 days in there, and if they restarted, they would be put in the normal forum again...

However this needs to go through the Alpha and Omega admin first... (That would be Bobcat)

i second that motion. i just tried to resurect animeb high, so post in there. i like civility and stuff like that.

I don't think it's neccesary for the forh\gotten rp's to be tidyed up cuz nobody sees them anyway the problem here is that all small scale battles and long term rp's are all at the same place fiting to keep of the second page where they'll be soon forgotten.

Well if we move the old RP's there won't be as much of a threat, however a actual RP Battle subforum would be nice to keep the singular battles from pushing the actual RP's off the page.

I requested an RPinc RP subforum to also help tidy our own RP's up, because theres a possibility there may be a lot in the future.

If that becomes a necessity, we will just need to force bobsy to do it...

Well he won't do it if we don't have a careful plan as to how this will work... He DEFINATELY won't move the actual topics though. You would have to do that Silas.

I don't think so. Abandoned RP's simply go into the dust bin of "older threads" just as there are old threads that are in other forums. If they were to be restarted, who would move them into the main RP forum? That's right, another moderator who may or may not do it. More work. Less Filling.

Yes yes, and what about a possible RP Battle subforum to keep the battles in a different place to the actual RP's.

I've just come home from the South Island, so I'm continuing this discussion.

I'm requesting a subforum for the Ouran Host Club Brigade's designations.
That way we don't get confused and I think we might need one. (I just put up that RP on the 3rd and it's got a lot of posts. )

As long as you are only using one or a few threads and the RP forum ain't flooded with RPs... There's no need for a subforum at all

Can I make an RP subforum so I could do my drama on it?? Like act dramatic??
That way, I'll get to keep my drama that I do with other Users. Is that okay or is it bad??

Anyway, I don't mean to bump this inactive topic for any reason, but I'm going to need an RP Subforum.

I'm completeting an RP that I've worked for 2 months on. I've described two Races already in the rough draft, and it's two pages long.

I'll explain a bit more WHY I need the subforum for this. If you're satisfied with this statement right now, then don't bother going on, it'll only convince you more. I need it because my RP is BIG. It has LOTS of topics, although not as big as Mahora fest.

Now, I'm listing what I expect will be needed, and I'm outlining a basic thing of what I'm using them for (I have different Standards that you weasels).

OOC - Contains Storyline and everything else needed for the RP. Not for discussion.

Character Info - Contains Character Profiles and NPC Profiles. Not for discussion.

IC - Where the actual Story happens. There is no dueling here, although there is fighting.

The Gate - An IC subdivision, where players post in order to get to the other Dimension (this RP is released simultaneously in a second Forum, with interactions between each).

Discussion and Feedback - Where players ask questions, chat about stuff to do, whine and complain about it being too complicated, or ask for things to be added.

Formal Dueling Arena - Where characters fight one another with relation to the story. Fights from the IC between two characters (who have agreed upon a duel, rather than an IC fight), is taken here.

Informal Dueling Arena - Just for fun, anyone who wants to fight another persons character, independant of Story or Location, can fight here.

Well, that's all for now. There's probably more that I'm forgetting.

Any chance of a subforum for my Battle Royale RPing?
I think its going quite well and as I will be wanting to start new threads for each "day" to make it more organised it may take a lot of space up with the rest.
