    The Bet

    As some of you may dimly recall, selo has this irritating tendency to think he's somehow better than me. Despite being a Mexican, he reckons he's good at gambling

    To that end, and much to my own shame, I've readily accepted and ventured several bets over the past few years, usually involving Champions League football matches and series

    The stakes are normally regarding avatars and signatures. Most of selo's efforts have been geared towards getting me to display various Naru sigs, as he cannot accept that Kaolla is naturally better than Naru

    We have a bet on at the moment, that Tottenham (selo's pick) will finish higher than West Ham (my pick) in the English Premier League

    I've forgotten the precise details, but if selo wins I have to use a Naru-based name for around two months. If selo loses, he loses 500000 vBplaza points

    he should, but he's a bit of a wuss like that It's fitting though, because he's continually protesting about having been robbed of 500k points the last vBplaza crash, and not being reimbursed...
