ten of the current Belgium national squad play in the Belgian league. Eleven of the current Scotland national squad play in the Scottish league. I think we can draw comparisons that way, at least between these two countries. No?

They're only good because the rest of the competition is so poor, as I think you realise. One good thing going for them, the lower league's sponsored by Irn Bru Does get tiresome though, the continuous barking from north of the border...

So... Inter got the better of Chelsea this evening, and CSKA drew with Seville. I'll go through and post the results when I wake up, too tired tonight

that you did. The Chelski game was a cracker, to tell the truth. The San Siro I already knew as one of the more intimidating grounds in the world, but we were treated to a rousing performance by the Inter fans with no reports of violence in our papers the next morning, which is always refreshing in matches involving Italian and English teams.

Who's up for the 2nd leg? And I think I called it when I said wålf'd only be interested while Liverpool were in the frame

Think I blew it thinking Lyon'd concede three goals, even away from home...

A ludicrously sorry showing from Milan though... shocker.

Betong getting the jump on us all again. Goes to show how narrow the margins of victory and defeat are, and how we must bow to the Donkey.

go with your gut feeling, it's usually worth following

seeing as we're watching over a European competition, can we all laugh at Liverpool's performance at Lille tonight, please?
