Queens County. One of the places I liked. Lol. But I went where the Twin Towers used to be; by an all girl school. They were nice, until we went out to eat at a mall or something. I don't think it was a mall; more like an outlet. We also went to Harlem. I also liked that place. We went inside the theatre and held our own little night at Harlem, or something like that.

Weel, Chocolate, I live near Sao Paulo (75 Km west), a city bigger than New York (some even say that Sao Paulo is the second capital of the world, being the first New York). And I confess that I don't want to live in a big city where people are hypocritical, the air is very polluted, it takes up to two hours to get from one neighborhood to another and still be afraid of being robbed or carjack.

But, I like NY, but especially the local subway that, despite the shortcomings, it is good and cover the whole city (though the São Paulo subway is one of the best in the world ...).

Yeah, São Paulo has only 4 lines, but a new line will be inaugurated this year, which will increase the network by 25%. We also have five commuter rail lines and It will start the construction of a monorail line. Ah, we have two trolleybus lines too.

Some pics of São Paulo metro, commuter rail and trolleybus rapid transit.

    4 +1 is 5? Get out!

I was going to say much the same as Betong, but then I can't really call on my own experiences as to knowing what's the best network in the world... :/

Being the ICT guy that I am, I have to disagree. Worst network ever.
Incredibly unreliable, no standard, no documentation. Should I go on?

Well, Hinarei... The São Paulo subway is one of the best in the world because of the cleaning stations (trains and stations aren't graffiti at all) and by modern trains (which have TV and air conditioning). But the system also has problems such as overcrowding and the network that is too small for the city. I have also used the subway and I approved the service. The commuter trains were terrible 10 years ago, but today are good as the subway.

No idea how good the Subway is, but the best I've seen has got to be Hong Kong. Clean, fast, modern, spacious, not confusing like Osaka and Tokyo. Lovely stuff.

The Tube is just too old, which is a shame. No air conditioning, no legroom. Never take it

Didn't want this to turn into a trains thread. Kinda strange this turn of events :/

That said, I don't care if the train's clean on the outside or not, so long as its comfy inside and can get me where I want to go with a minimum of fuss. And television and air-con on a train?? I tell you, they'd better have individual compartments for this sort of thing, because if I can't change the channel on the set or dial up the air-con myself there's going to be trouble

We've got TV on some buses. Pretty pointless

One of the stranger things I've seen was a weird projection of adverts onto the walls in Beijing and Shanghai. They seemed to move along with the train, so must have been coming from the train, but they didn't look like normal projections. Very strange, and hard to explain

Yeah, you do need to go on.
I don't see how that doesn't make for the best network ever.
