I had a thought a while back after reading and seeing a lot of material on Death. Would it not be interesting to have a Sci Fi/ Fantasy books where Death was not a skeleton not evil or super gloomy?

What if death was a job you had to classify for?
what parts of the test to you need to pass?

So started writting and had some ideas but i quicly noticed ineeded help.

so I came to find my friend Aeris and Aoshi and anyone here to help me.

I have a list of what id like to do.

maybe even have a character made for each class so i can use or use as insperation.

long White hair, Grey eyes, pale skin.
wears an angel necklace around her neck, one wing is broken. predominantly dresses in black, wears a shirt that has angel's wings screen printed on the back. lives in a back woods settlement in america, a house that is non descript. Takes care of an old man there who believes she is his grand daughter, who tragically died shortly before her arrival. so she adopted her name and began taking care of the elderly man.


Mortal: Joe Schmo, Mortal, male, age 22
shortish brown hair, pale skin brown eyes.
Occupation: Construction worker
Story: Raised on the farm, when his parents died forced to move out and sell farm to make ends meet, works construction day, works at a bar in the evenings.

Blonde hair, blue eyes, muscular midly tanned skin.
long white robe under golden armor.

Created by God to be one of three chief angels, The third of which has since been cast out.

Angels: Generic

names: they need to be heavenly in nature,
endig in a, or h. for female and usually ending in L for male.

any features, most are depicted like Micheal, although there is bound to be diversity.

Angels: constantly created beings that are akin to footsoldiers in an army, they have specific tasks and specializations and each one is created specifically for that purpose. although they are never destroyed. once their task is complete they become generic foot-soldiers and can adapt to different roles.


Demons: defiled angels, must retain basic structure of angels, but generally ugly, unless they are a specific type of demon, such as Succubi or incubi. generally red skinned and possessing the ability to enter an leave mortals seemingly at will.





define Forsaken and horrors please? do they qualify under ghosts and spirits or what have you?

This aint no war story but could very well be. There will be solider angels that work with Micheal but most angels follow the concept that they are the first children of God and Man is the second children of God.

There are different angels as there are different types of humans. We were made to be breatherin to Angels but on another plane of existence but due to our fall from the garden of Eden and from God we became mortal. Mortals and angels are made in God's image thus we all are different.

There are angels of various types. Its a bit lengthy to get into it. Ill post what i write so yall can see where im going with this.

Satan was cast out from God and Demons are the opposite of Angels in that like satan they were once angels but fell and punished to live with Satan as his followers. Satan was a Archangel but fell and demons were his "division" but fell with him.

Horrors are abominations or minions or evils the demons use to do their work. Horrors could be anything.
Angels have "Blessings"

This isnt an rp though we could make it one its acutally a book series id like to write if i could. And Aeris if you like you could be my co author.

what i did was make an example character, and then for the generic archetypes laid out general convintions for stuff, when you think of my post, half of what you said, i already did.


angels and demons have many types, what sets them apart is angels wil be more human like,, and demons will be vile and deformed, and misshapen.

I like what you did and i may use them later on.

The idea i want to carry though in these stories is like Supernatural. Where They dont really look like us but can. Thus they blend in with us rather well.

All angels are people like us just different. and celestial they are the first born. We are the second.

Besides what i want to aim with them is that we were made based on them but are a different set.

Also no body in my story is going to be "recycleable" aka you die oh sorry well save your soul and recyle your body. no.

only "blessing summons" and "horror manifestations" are recyclable.

I am currently trying to figure out a start on chapter one and how to get main character Julie Grimm to the Employment center in the Eden District in heaven.

Main character:

Name: Julie Grimm
Age: Unknown
Death: December 25 2001
Interest: Art
Interest in Career: One of Gods Creation Artists
Ex boyfriend: Ryn'el Echeart
Sibilings: Older: Sera Zeph (adopted)
Middle Brother: Charles Grimm (older brother)

Easiest way to explain is death, but there is always a random call up. God could call her up there, or something could be put in place as a recruitment drive in the mortal world, such as fallen angels.

like Sera could be a recruiter and has the ability to send you to heaven to end up in the eden district.

The book starts with her reminising about her death and the Bridgeway then it starts at her home in the eden district. shes going to be dead from the begining

that smooths things out, have you decided how she died?

also you should have a list of possible denizens of heaven that she'd interact with, assorted charachters, generic, then you should add in the specifics that she'd be interacting with, put them in the places of some of the generics, like standing outside a building or whatnot. get the reader familiar with the characters before their actually integrated.

Certin things wont be mentioned about her death till like much later.

Her and her mother died driving out somewhere and got into a multiple car pile up on the high way during winter.

So you mean as i go describe first then have her interact?

it's a good policy to add the character in as a passerby before she actually engages, like for example:

main character is walking down street, there is people all around, one of these people is a tall, white male holding a sack. he takes notice of main character, main character notices this. then man disappears into crowd.

later in story:

main character is told to see Dalen, a man who has instructions for her, upon reaching the appointed place, there is Dalen., the same man from the street.

i could be persuaded to do an RP, if i'm given license to do what i need to to my character and don't have a grossly unbalanced character to contend with.

problem with the rp's we start arii is i create a character, then you create one that is more powered or has powers that counteract mine perfectly. forcing me to alter my original concept. as long as i can keep my original character concept (Sera) i would be ok with it.

I forgot to answer you earlier that list i made at the begining is in the order from good to evil
so Fallen are angels who were killed by demons and since angels and demons are already dead to begin with they loose their wings and are now home plane is the Mortal plane. Fallen are still devine beings but unable to return to heaven have half the power of a mid level angel and work to further the will of God.

The forsaken are Demons killed by Angels who are the opposite of Fallen.

Fallen and forsaken can only exist if the kill isnt complete or isnt "fatal" when fatal they shatter into energy and return to heaven/hell as energy.

Also Due to free will and the constant tug between God and Satan Temptation in the mortal realm eats at everyone the key is how much and how its delt with.

Also your comment about our rping, Considering that my character is an Angel of Death by nature its powerful but its the flavor of the characters as we develop them makes them broken or not. People are unique. I am working on it.

Sera still fits, but i need to not get in a fight with you at any time.

and if she does, she needs to be given access to power that can equal yours

(perhaps a key to unlock her old angelic powers like the necklace she wears, maybe it requires fresh human blood to unlock it or something)

the problem is solved already if we never get into a fight. if our characters are partners.

I let you in as view only. Also im gonna change it up. Fallen Wing options:

Broken half wing (basically slaped and snaped your wing on a rock deal type)
Broken down to a bloody stump protruding out of your back shoulder blade
none but a horribly disfigured scarred and mauled back base of neck to base of shoulder blades with Wing tattoos on it

what i wanted the fallen to embody are the Evangelists and they still have ties to their heavenly powers but are disconected from heaven and only recieve a bleed though risidueal faith energy or something ambient. but the blessings and powers they can make and have are limited to say on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being Micheal and infinity being God. a fallen is 5 and Angels of Death are 8. Combat instructors are 9. How they can access their powers i think ill leave it as the same as before death but their chant to open it wont be instantaneous it would be probaly a few seconds to a minute or two depending on what their doing.

Fallen have more resistances to corruption than mortals and less than mid level angels higher than footsoilder angels and they keep their good ways to not only stay strong but to stay close to God.

Were not going to be enemies Julie is going to be told to meet you a few weeks into her stationing to pick up a few things at your local church and she will have a package for you and they will be old friends.

they will fight Girl on Girl but not Death on Fallen if you know what i mean

i just don't wanna end up having an angelic deathmatch.

we wont be Angel fighting its like if i *****slap you thats not angel thats a girl hitting a girl with a hand. So what do you think of the draft?
