Things I have been up to lately

I've been working, quite long days, but making up for it by playing Angry Birds whenever I can. My scores are good enough to count me as perhaps a slightly above average player, judging by the leaderboards on AngryBirdsNest
I'm also reading the Wizard of Id collection book for strips published during 1972. The humour is old and some of it does go slightly over my head but mostly it's relatable and hilarious. I love Johnny Hart and Brant Parker's workMy dad got the 1971

Personally, I was astonished to find that I'd not posted her here before, seeing as how she fits my bill so perfectly. She's a young, exotic girl (she's Atlantean, descended from extra-terrestrials, and hails from Africa), savage, agile and seemingly quite flexible

The next few days are going to have a festival air about them, here in this sceptres isle. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has reached her 60th year on the throne as head of state of the Commonwealth Realms, which means following a tradition of holidays, street parties, and everyone going loopy for the Union Flag. More so than usual, I mean.
The British royal family has its awful side, individual members or whole branches of which polite society wouldn't want anything to do with,
